Psychogeography is a musical duo founded in 2019 by Paweł Krzaczkowski aka Zajwert and Piotr Łyszkiewicz, combining the sound of prepared piano, wind instruments, synthesizers and various unusual acoustic devices. In September this year the band released their debut album Random Roots (Gusstaff Records, Don't Sit On My Vinyl!).
At the concert within the framework of the Sound Energy the band will present material based partly on the album Random Roots released in September this year and a number of new compositions for wind instruments and synthesizers.
Paweł Krzaczkowski aka Zajwert - composer and performer of electronic and instrumental music, multimedia artist, poet. Author/co-author of many music projects for such institutions as Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Audio Art, Labirynt Gallery, Warsaw Autumn, Sacrum Profanum. Author of the poem Möbius' Ribbons (Rita Baum, 2017) and the music album King Midas Has Donkey's Ears (BAS Records, 2019). Apart from solo activities (as Zajwert) Paweł Krzaczkowski is a member of Psychogeografia (with Piot Łyszkiewicz), Woyfer Zajwert (with Sławomir Wojciechowski) and Klangwerk 936 (with Kacper Ziemianin).
Piotr Łyszkiewicz - saxophonist, improviser, producer, songwriter. Worked with Mitch & Mitch, Ziemia Planeta Ludzi, P.K.P., The Kurws, Second Exit, Piotr Damasiewicz, Małe Instrumenty, Panna Adrianna, Mela Koteluk, Artur Rojek, Krzysztof Zalewski, Borja Soto, Ballady i Romanse. CeO of Spoon Production studio. Awarded in VII. Konkurs Kompozytorski im. Krzysztof Komeda Composers' Contest for composition ''Bollo'' and in 48 HFP contest for music in movie "Tuba".
